Burnside Bridge Clousure - Sunday morning
The Burnside Bridge will close to street and river traffic on Sunday morning, June 29 during the annual Beat the Burnside run. The bridge, which serves as the finish line for the five mile run, will be closed to street traffic from 6:00 am to 11:00 am. The event will close the bridge to river traffic from 8:40 am to 9:30 am. The bridge will remain open to bicyclists and pedestrians at all times.
During the closure, TriMet bus lines 12-Sandy, 19-Glisan, 20-Burnside, 33-Fremont and 35-Greeley will be rerouted across the Morrison Bridge. The Steel Bridge is currently closed to all vehicles except MAX trains.
Multnomah County maintains the Burnside Bridge and more than 300 miles of roads and bridges.
