Bridge closures for the Sunday Portland Marathon Oct 3rd
at times on Sunday, October 5 during the Portland Marathon.
Broadway Bridge: outside westbound lane and north sidewalk closed from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. The bridge lift span will not open for river traffic during that time. From 10:00 am until noon, only TriMet buses may use the inside westbound traffic lane.
Burnside Bridge: All westbound lanes closed from 6:30 am to 9:00 am.
Morrison Bridge: All westbound lanes closed from 6:00 am to 8:45 am. The city center exit ramp from Interstate 5 to the bridge will be closed at this time.
Alternate river crossings include the Hawthorne Bridge, which will remain open in both directions on Sunday. Many TriMet bus lines will be detoured to alternate bridges during the event. Detour information will be posted at bus stops.
Multnomah County maintains six Willamette River bridges and more than 300 miles of roads and bridges.
